Who can resist the sandy beaches of Elie and Earslferry? St. John’s has a much sought after parking space accessed via a lane from Links Road. This then takes you straight into the garden area and into the property through the back door. The front door is on the main street in Earlsferry and is just a couple of minutes walk away from the main beach.

This is a great family property with large patio garden and off street parking. The village is also very popular off season and at St. John’s we can do a reduced occupancy price. This garden flat is at the far end of Earlsferry High Street and can be accessed from this street or from Links Road. The main door opens into an inner vestibule where you will see the front doors for the upper flat and for this one (on the right).

Once in the front door you have a handy space for shoes and coats and sand before entering the open plan kitchen/living area.

The sitting area has a huge window looking onto the street and is a large room with a high ceiling and it includes an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area. The kitchen has fitted units and a huge tall window above the sink. Gas hob and oven, washing machine, dish washer and microwave.  The large, tall freestanding fridge with good freezer space is located in seperate room off the kitchen.

The ground floor bathroom has loo, basin and a double sized shower.

There is one small bunkroom with comfortable adult sized bunks and good storage. The next door bedroom not only looks onto the garden but has a newly installed glass and panel door straight out onto the patio.   It has zip and link beds which can be 2 ft 6 singles (i.e smaller than average) or a king size bed (UK king is 5ft wide). Again great storage. These beds used as singles are best for children only.

There is then quite a steep staircase up to the first floor bedroom which is en suite. The bedroom is a good size and has a king size bed and large wardrobe, the en suite is small but houses a shower, basin and loo. This bedroom has a bird’s eye view of all the area to the back of the house.

The garden is all paved and has 2 different levels to catch the sun at different times of the day. We have a round picnic table with umbrella and an outdoor sofa set, all near the barbecue on the lower patio area. The barbecue is a built in brick barbecue.

We then have the highly sought after parking space. Parking is for one car only and it can be quite tight turning in from Links Road. Other parking is on the street in front of the house or up near Chapel Green or on Links Road.
